All,

Wow, what a tournamnet. Great theatre! Hey, Hans, now I know how you have
felt every other week or so, as two of your players are coming down the
stretch head to head, and you have the luxury of rooting for WHICH of your
players you'd like to see win!!

But there were games within the game... to wit:

Lee Janzen wins the US Open.

And I win two weeks worth of Skins, right, Sobo.

And I win the Major Tourney bonus, right, Gabes.

And my Strip Tees score a huge $900,000 jackpot w/ the Janzen/Stewart
one/two finish and the scraps from Day, Els, and Faxon.

But with all the excitement generated by Stewart's 20 foot birdie try to tie
Janzen, that was not the most important putt of the tourney. Because, while
Stewart may have had a 3 shot cushion on third place, I did NOT have such a
luxury on the MCDermott foursome!!

Yes, amazingly, our $20 per man pool, foursome medal play, came down to a
SINGLE STROKE. And when a dejected Stewart stroked in his par putt on 18 to
lose by one, he made me a winner by that very margin over Andy.

I had held a 10 stroke lead over Andy going into the last round, and we both
had all of our golfers going. Andy's team played great up and down the
line, and my first two out of the shoot, Els and Faxon, limped in w/ 76 and
79 respectively. It looked like the Strip Tees might not hang on,
especially after Stewart's bogey at 16.

But hang on we did!
