After sitting on this awhile I figure, why not?

The plusses ...

... Hey guys, we're well into, and heading outta our 40's,
    what do we have left to play??? Golf is the name of the game.

So, if we;re going to hack at it we may as well fantasize about it.
Sound familiar, eh?

... Year round action ...!!!!

... No fantasy golf mags to hold our hands .. we're on our own.

The minuses ...

... Fantasy Golf ... "getta life"

... $100  I know its chicken feed but its 100 beans and this might 
    inhibit some of us ... I'm in regardless (but don't ask me for
    side bets) however I suggest a lower commitment ... til we see
    how it goes ... the gamblers out there can always raise the stakes
    on the side. How about $25 to get in, and those who are into it
    can go wild on the side?

Willo, Prep, and Ikey,

I trust you boys simply have been too busy (or in your case, Willo, too =
LAZY) to respond to Gabes' PGA Roto request.

But I also trust that you boys are in.

As Gabes points out, the entry fee breaks out to $10 per month, or about =
$3 per PGA event.  It'll give us something to root for as we sip beer on =
a Sunday afternoon, watching otherwise meaningless approach shots and =
putts as golfers who have no chance of winning the event are finishing =
up their rounds.

So when Ken Venturi attempts to trump up some interest by saying: "This =
putt could mean $17,000 to him", that will no have meaning for us!

And think of poor Gabes... he won't be allowed out in the sun any =
longer, so all spring and summer, he'll be confined to the indoors, =
watching golf events on weekends.  The man's life will become one =
endless Quad Cities Classic.  Give the poor boy something to live for!  =
Join his roto league!

Keep in mind, too... Gabes has yet to make a run at ANY of the leagues =
the boy has been in.  He's pissing the money away to us... just as sure =
as if he was throwing the dough out the window on the Eisenhower Expwy, =
for Chrissakes.  So jump in before he changes his mind. =20

And Mags... the Poet Laureate of the group.... where are you stones?  =
Step upto the tee, big fella... grip it, and rip it!  Preppie is sending =
you a free set of clubs (has he EVER lived up to that commitment, BTW?) =
and you won't join Gabes' PGA Roto?  You'll follow a bunch of =
jungle-boogy thyroid cases in the NBA and not the PGA?  Come on!

Johnny Goodtimes... I know you know nothing of golf, but I promise I'll =
help you out.  NO up front charge. Just 10% of your winnings if you win. =
 You know, like those ambulance chasing lawyers offering no fee unless =
you collect... just a smaller %!!
