Final 2022 Golf Write Up by Gabes

Gentlemen,

As I say every time at the end of our Roto Golf season, there are many ways to win (and lose) money in our wonderful format. I think that's a good thing because, even if your team has no chance to win the championship after a while, you can still win weekly skins, or do well in the majors, or have a week where your team gets the low weekly score for the year. This year finds five money winners, and four big losers. Let's get inside the numbas:

-The lucky, dumb cser won going away this year with his boy Rory roaring back on the final day at East Lake to win the Fed Ex Cup. To the winner go the riches, and boy was the lucky, dumb cser lucky this year. His team did well in everything. They took first place money, won one Grand Slam Skin, won money in weekly skins, mopped up on all side bets, AND won a whopping amount in the Majors side bets. Add it all together, and the lucky, dumb cser wins $**!

-Ikey and his Heroes had a good season and finished in second place. His team also won one Grand Slam Skin and did well in side bets. His final winnings would have been much better if his team did better in weekly skins and the Majors side bets, but Ikey still wins a total of $**, and a bottle of wine from Mags.

-Jackie's Smoothies finished in third place, but his team tied for the lead with six weekly skins, and also won the low team score of the year with a 36 at Wells Fargo. Because of all of that, Jackie wins $**.

-Hans' Ace Holes finished in fourth place. They lost a little bit of money in weekly skins, but they did well in the Majors side bets. Hans takes home $**.

-Andy's Hookers finished in the final money spot, but they had lots of areas where they strutted their stuff. They won one Grand Slam Skin, tied Jackie for the league lead with six weekly skins, and did OK in the Majors side bets. Andy takes home $**. Not bad for finishing in fifth place.

-Al's Balls finished in sixth place, but I'm sure they are blue as his team ended up in the red in all categories. Mr. Loser loses $**.

-My ForeSkins sucked. They somehow finished in seventh place (what does that say about the two teams that finished below my team?). I lose a second worst $**.

-Mags' team could have used a number of Mulligans this year. They finish in eighth place, and they sucked across the board. Mags loses $**, and a bottle of wine to Ikey.

-Sobo dwelled in the cellar almost all year. It seemed like he and his team took it in the ass with the worst team score most weeks. They won just one weekly skin, lost every side bet, and sucked in the Majors side bets. Sobo throws the party and loses $**.

Per the rules, the draft slot selection order for the 2023 draft will be:

-Al
-Mags
-Hans
-Andy
-Ikey
-Jack
-Fox

Draft slot selection will begin on Monday, November 28th. The actual 2023 draft will begin on Saturday, December 17th. Start studying!
