So I will do my best to summarize numbers from Thursday and Friday. Gabes won Thursday honors with 354 shots, followed closely by Al at 356. Sobo and Ikey brought up the rear on day 1 each with 366. But Friday was a very different day and results. Ikey posted the low total of the two days with a sparkling 348. Gabes took second and is in command going into the weekend with all 6 players making the cut. Fox, Andy and Mags all have 5 alive. Ikey has 4. Sobo and Al have 3. Jack and I have one. How pathetic. And yes, my team is DFL. Al, is this a curse for running the pool? Round 3 An impressive performance by Fox’s boys on Saturday. All 4 posted under par scores lead by Rory McIlroy with 4 under 67. Look out for Rory on Sunday. Andy takes 2nd only 5 shots back of Fox in round 3. I was surprised to see Ian Poulter post a low 68 for Andy. Thru Round 3 Fox. 990 Gabes. 991 Andy. 993 Mags. 1005 Ikey. 1007 Al. 1018 Sobo. 1021 Hans. 1031 Jack. 1034 As you can see, 3 teams hold a strong lead, 2 have a possibility, but not likely, then the bottom 4 who could care less. As for predicting the Open winner, I see an unexpected winner, Hughes or Henley. Have a great Fathers Day. Round 4 Congrats to Jack, the owner of John Rahm. Fortunately for Jack he will cash with Rahm being one of the Major winners in Gabes season long pool. but no cash in Al's major pool. There is a 3 way tie for Sunday honors - Gabes, Andy and Mags.
