Guys,

Once again, congrats to first time golf winner, Al, and his Dimpled
Balls! It's always nice to get your first win at something you've been
playing for a long time! Congrats Al!

As I've said before, there are many ways to win money, and many ways to
lose money, in our Roto Golf format. There were only three winners this
year. Here's a breakdown:

Al finished first and takes home the big bucks. Al wins $623.30. He'd
have won even more had his team done better in the majors side bets, but
his 11 weekly skins were close to the record 13 he had a couple of years
ago.

Hans finished second and takes home $366.12. Had he won more weekly
skins, his take home would have been even better, but he did clean up in
majors side bet action, and he also won one Grand Slam Skin.

Sobo finished third and takes home $164.79. He also would have won more
if he had more than one weekly skin, but he beat up everyone in the
majors side bets.

Andy finished fourth and lost $81.14. He could have won money, but he
lost a $100 side bet to me on the Duval/Mediate vs. Gay/DeLaet bet. The
amazing thing about that bet was that DeLaet missed almost the entire
season due to injury and my Gay boy won that bet by himself. Like Al,
Andy also mopped up the skins this year with a total of 9. He will be
enjoying a nice smoke, too. Ikey owes him a nice cigar because of their
side bet.

My Skins finished in the final money spot, but they sucked all year. I
hated them, starting with Tiger. Hunter Mahan blows, too! I lost
$215.57. I only won one weekly skin all season, and I got pounded in the
majors side bets. Many thanks to Andy for that $100 side bet or my
losses would have been even worse.

Fox finished in sixth place and lost $280.60. Except for doing well in
weekly skins, his team pretty much sucked across the board.

Jack finished in seventh place, but he only lost $169.50. The major
reasons for that were a Grand Slam Skin, being slightly in the black in
the majors side bets, and he won the low team score of the year with a
score of 32 way back in week 22. Jack will be able to toast Ikey as he
writes his check. Ikey owes Jack a nice bottle of whiskey.

It was great to have Ikey back this season, but unfortunately for him,
his team sucked across the board. Ikey lost $407.40, and he will also be
sending a nice cigar to Andy and a nice bottle of whiskey to Jack.

The accounting spreadsheet is attached if you'd like to see all of the
ugly details. All of the losers should send their checks to me. I'll
send checks to the winners when the funds are collected. Please try to
send me your checks as quickly as possible. 

Per the rules:

Draft position selection order is determined by money lost/won
the previous year ... highest loser selecting first through
highest winner selecting last.

So, the draft position selection order for the 2012 Roto Golf Draft will be:

Fox
Gabes
Jack
Andy
Sobo
Hans
Al
Anyone else who joins

As always, the draft position selection process will begin on the Monday after 
Thanksgiving (November 28, 2011). That's just two months away, so start studying!
