Guys, You will find the final accounting below and attached. As you all know, there are many different ways to make and lose money during the RotoGolf season (i.e., side bets, majors side bets, weekly skins, Grand Slam Skins, low weekly team score of the year, etc.). I think this is kind of nice because, even if your overall team sucks (e.g., the lucky, dumb, bleep bleeping Phuckers this year), you can still stay interested if there is a way to make money throughout the long grinding season. Let's get into the 2008 numbas: Jack was our champion, and really wasn't challenged all season. He drafted well and then sat back and watched his guys get the bleepin' job done week in and week out. He won two Slam Skins and really did well in every money category. It's not surprising then that he takes home the big money ($697.00). Congrats to him! Mags did a great job challenging Jack and took home second place honors. Unfortunately, his team really sucked in the majors side bets, so he took home only $21.60 when all was said and done. It certainly beats losing money. Sobo's Seekers took home third place honors, but his team did the worst of any team in the majors side bet action. To offset that, Tiger did win him two Slam Skins and he ended up winning $123.40. My Skins were solid in fourth place, but I made lots of moves, sucked in the majors side bets, and made some foolish side bets (Tim Clark and Justin Rose BLOW!). The end result was a team that lost $177.00 and was the third biggest loser overall. Hans' Ace Holes took home the final money spot without winning one weekly skin. Not good. Fortunately for Hans, his team played tough in the majors so he was able to offset some of his losses with earnings there and ended up losing only $117.00. Without any question, the luckiest, dumb, bleeping bleeper was Fox. Despite finishing in sixth place, the lucky, dumb, bleeping bleeper won a record 10 weekly skins, and all mostly in the last couple of months. He also won the low weekly team score of the year with a score of 47. That, together with big winnings in the majors side bets allowed him to win a second best total of $142.00. Al's team sucked. Again! He may be one heck of a golfer on the course, but he doesn't know shit about picking a winning RotoGolf team. He sucked across the board, except in the majors side bets. His small earnings there offset what could have been an even bigger total loss, but he still lost more money than anyone else ($349.60). Andy's Hookers took it in the ass all season long. In fact, if it wasn't for Anthony Kim, who knows just how bad this team may have been. Andy was a loser across the board, but because he kept his side bets low and made the fewest number of moves all season, he lost slightly less than Al ($340.40). Congrats to all of the money winners, and better luck next year to all of the money losers. Remember, the draft position selection order for the 2009 draft is determined by money lost/won...biggest loser selecting his draft position first through biggest winner getting the leftover spot. That means the position selection order for the 2009 draft will be: Al Andy Gabes Hans Mags Sobo Lucky, Dumb, Bleeping Bleeper Fox Jack Thanks to all for playing again this season! Gabes
