Day 1 - BO Pool Sucks!!!

Who came up with this stupid idea to have a Majors Side Pool? Oh, shit, it was me. Maybe I suck... well, the Dimpled Balls sure sucked today, anyway. Seven strokes separated 1st from 6th... the same seven strokes that separate my Balls from next to last. But enough about my sickly Balls... let's go to the leaders.

Fox's boys were consistent, two 69's and a worst score of 72. Gabes boys were but a single stroke behind, as they were able to throw away Love the Turd's 79. Sobo and Jack sit tied for third. Andy couldn't take advantage of Sergio's brilliant 65, and sits tied for fifth w/ Hans. But I sense this could be Sergio's year, and Andy may be sitting on a major skin, anyway. I would LOVE to see Sergio and Woods in the final twosome w/ Woods a few strokes off the pace. If he can't come from behind against Sergio, he may never come from behind to win a major.

Day 2 - Andy smokes

Well, my team sucks as bad as Day 1, but 5 of 7 teams also scored over 360 for the day. Gabes followed up his Day 1 place finish with another solid score of 354, earning place honors again and putting him in a tie in the top spot after two days. But it was Andy who SMOKED the field with a stellar 348... low score by six strokes... and has surged... or shall I say Sergio'd... into a tie for the top spot.

Everyone else vies for third except my sorry bunch of Shriveled Balls, as most missed the cut for the weekend. I'll be busy watching the LPGA HSBC event, or rooting for Villegas in the US Bank event... are there $$$ associated with that event, Gabes?

This pool BBBLLLOOOWWWSSSS!

Day 3 - Fox smokes

Fox SMOKED the field in Rd 3 by 8 strokes, and storms into the second slot overall behind Andy, who took second place on Sat.

Fox has 4 going on Sun, Andy has 5. Gabes sits third overall, but has 4 going to Sobo's 5.

Day 4 - Andy wins

Andy won round 4 and held Fox off, who finished both second for the day and overall. Sobo, with 5 men going, could not fire on Sat or Sun, and his 297 on Sunday sucked, 13 strokes behind Gabes' 4 man team, as Gabes cruised to third place.

Andy just missed the daily double, as Garcia had his heart broken by Fox's Harrington. He'll be consoled by the $130 he takes from this event, where we had the fewest number of Daily winners... just the three who finished Top Three overall.

I may have set a record for futility but am not interested in researching the history... call Elias if you want to know if either 77 strokes from first or 42 from next to last stand as records. Let's simply assume yes.
