All I can say is that some of you bleepbleepers are lucky my email wasn't working during much of the draft. My analysis: Prep- He helps turn the corner quickly one time and expects a medal. Pathetic effort from the Prepster and his peeps through most of the draft, both in terms of slow play and players drafted. It took him 24 hours to pick Pernice, Jr. and Billy Andrade. Both bleep! Followed that up with Danron, Sabbatini, Couples, Waldorf and Jay Don Blake. Bad, worse and then awful. Ask Sobo about Damron. Ask Al about Sabbatini. Couples will play about 15 events. I had Waldorf last year. He blows. Didn't Blake flunk out of Q school? Andy- Like the VJ pick. Rest is complete garbage. I heard this morning that Coceres won't be playing in the Mercedes because he broke his arm. Probably won't be playing much period. Harrington and Izawa? Andy better hope the other 7 players play every week. I have him as the favorite for Tiger in 2003. Ikey- Did a great job trying to move the draft along even though he didn't have email. Too bad Willo and Andy did bleep jobs as his draft buddies. I heard Mickey won't be in Hawaii this weekend. Something about changing diapers at home. Lickliter is OK. So is Sluman. Liked the Appleby pick. In fact, I was hoping he'd slide to me. Kaye and Paulson are good ham and eggers. So is Lewis. Wouldn't have taken Clarke *and* Bjorn. That means Ikey needs lots of plays from 8 guys. Won't happen. Willo- Like the first four picks. The last six are bleeps. Daddy's callin', girlfriend! Mags- See Willo above, but great job leaving provisional picks at the end. You da man! Al- Toms is very solid. The rest of this team belongs on the Senior Tour. Sobo- Like 8 players on this team a lot. Young but lots of upside. If Garcia plays here a lot, he could win multiple tournaments. Like Cink. Wanted Howell. Had Gay last year a loved him. Gossett, Briny, and the two Matts could be good. Johansson? PU! Jimenez is OK but nothing special. Hans- The Gabes/Hans/Jack/Fox team gave lessons throughout the draft on how to effectively and efficiently turn the corner. Verplank and Estes are studs. Faxon is good. Sutton is old. Cook is done. Herron is Lumpy. I think Geiberger will have a good year and something tells me I blew it by taking Hnatiuk rather than Berganio. Jose can you play? Jack- Furyk, Allenby and Maruyama are solid. Lowery, Daly and Brooks are iffy. Goosen and Westwood won't play enough to help. Holy Toledo! Willis might be the worst player in our league. Won one tournament and then completely tanked last year. Fox- Loved the first two picks. Wanted Leonard bad. Thought he would slip back to me in round 2. bleep you, Fox! Sutherland and Kelly are good and play lots of tournaments. Peoples named Edwards are bleep golfers. Had KJ last year and liked him. Browne, too. Lancaster? CUT! Willianson? CUT! Gabes- ForeSkins should be competitive. Nine guys will play lots of tournaments, and Langer is scheduled to play 19 times. Weir beat the top 30 golfers at the Tour Championship. DiMarco is solid. Kenny Perry, too. Quigley and Chad Campbell have huge potential. Janzen? Who knows. Looking for a come back year from Chris Perry like 1999 when he made 30 of 31 cuts. Play away, gentlemen! Gabes
