So, Willo, Mags, and Gabes, sends what they lost to me. I’ll distribute the winnings.

Some comments on the finish:

From Mags, a week before the end:

Forget March Madness.  The real hoops excitement this year is in Cyberzahm.

It's down to the final week or so and it looks like Gabes' Dunkbags are going to hang on for victory in one of the closest Cyberzahm contests since Prep's nail-biting World Series competiton a few years back.   The

Posse and Big Dippers are still in the running to catch the Dunkbags, but a miracle finish is required.  The Posse has the best shot at catching the 'Bags, with the Punks and Dippers fighting for 3rd. The Punks have hovered near the top for quite some time, but late season injuries look like they have left them short.  Anthony's Acracks made a late push to move up in the ranks but appear to be blowing it  the last few games.  The Foxes fizzled early and the Weepers, well they just blow.

Gabes is probably pacing the floors, screaming redfaced at his 'Bags.  If they can hold on for another week or so, there will be riotous celebration in the streets of Kenosha.

Hope this doesn't jinx ya Gabes.

Mags

Gabes:

Best CyberZahm roto race ever. It all comes down to the last night. I need a solid night in 3s (I'm just 3 little old 3 pointers behind Anthony). If I get it, I can tie Jack for first place. If I have an all around big scoring night *and* a big night in 3s, I can take first all alone. Five teams were in this race all year (Jack, Hans, Mags, Anthony and me). Fox was in it for a while also. Only Willo's team really sucked. He's everybody's girlfriend! Of all the roto races, this one was clearly the best and most exciting. Too bad some of you bleepers missed out on the action. It was great fun!

Hans:

Congrats to Jack and the Posse.  I think this is your first CyberZahm victory.  Don't make a habit of it.

I was shocked (but pleased) to see my boys slip into second place this morning when I read the final results.  I hope that Garnett and Cassell continue to play well and the Twolves go far in the playoffs.  They are the

only team I will be watching, as I have lost a lot of interest in the NBA, especially now that baseball has started.

Thanks to Mags and Anthony for the many early season moves.  They really helped the pot, but did squat in terms of final results for their respective teams.

Gabes:

Jack, Congrats on taking first, and congrats to Hans on taking second. Gilbert ArANUS blows! He's averaged over 22 points a game for me since I picked him up. He also averaged about 3 or 4  3 pointers each game. What's he do last night? He gets 2, bleeping two points, and no 3 pointers. Means I finish 2  3 pointers behind Anthony letting him tie me. If ArANUS just did his normal thing, I'd have tied for second. Instead, I tie for third dropping 4 points during the last period. For about the last ten days my team sucked in FG% and that allowed Hans and Anthony to pass me in that category. Oh well. It was still a very exciting race. Best ever, really. Five of the seven teams in the league were really in it to the end. That was great. It's the way it should be.

Yes, Jack, nice win.  This was really an interesting finish- I think 3 or 4 teams changed spots on the last day! I knew the Punks had fizzled out, but I was hoping through the miracle of category standings to eek

out a clear 4th finish.  Thought I had a tie for 4th wrapped up, then I see I end up in 5th!  Posses made a great dash the last week, as did the Acracks!

Looking forward to next year.  If only we can get a few more of those deadbeats to join in...
