Everyone must be able to field a starting lineup of 2 centers, 4 guards, and 4 forwards. We will each also have 4 reserves. The positions that players qualify for will be determined by the player listings found at the official NBA web site ... www.nba.com follow the link to each team and then rosters.. The draft will begin on Monday, October 27th. C. Categories The categories are Scoring Average, Field Goal Percentage, Free Throw Percentage, Rebounds, Assists, Steals, Blocked Shots and Three-Point Baskets. Roto points are calculated just like for baseball. The percentage categories are calculated like the baseball batting average ... i.e. team shots made/team shots attempted. D. Starting Lineups Everyone must set their starting lineup of 2 C's, 4 F's and 4 G's by the noon following the end of the draft. Your starting lineup is retroactive to the start of the season and cannot be changed until the day after the starting lineups are due. Just send the list to me. I'll post them. The players not in your starting lineup are your reserves. E. Replacements Between the end of the draft and 2/09 you can replace up to 10 of your players with any "free agent". This will be first come first serve. Send your requests to the ICC. Replacing one of your reserves will cost $5. Replacing one of your starters will cost $10. Note that this is twice as many moves as before. At half the cost. Moves received by Noon will take place that night. After Noon will take place the next day. Rule addendum. During the first 24 hours after a player has been released, if more than one owner trys to pick them up I will "flip a coin" to see who gets him. After 24 hours they are free game, first come first serve. F. Exchanges At any time during the season you can exchange players between your reserves and your starting lineup. You may make a total of 15 such exchanges. Again, send these requests to the ICC. Exchanges cost $3 each. Moves received by Noon will take place that night. After Noon will take place the next day. G. Trades Trading is allowed until the trade deadline (2/16). All trades must leave all owners with a full starting lineup. Inform the ICC of any trades and related moves. You may not trade replacement/exchange options. Moves received by Noon will take place that night. After Noon will take place the next day. H. Fees Entry $50 Replacement $5/$10 Exchange $ 3 Web Site $120/n where n = number of owners I. Payouts First, we deduct the cost of the stat service. Then the remaining money is divvied up as follows: First place: 30% Second place: 15% Third place: 5% The remaining 50% will be given out using the following scheme which essentially pro-rates payouts based on total points ... The total points earned by the last place team are subtracted from everybodies total points, giving everyone an adjusted point value. The adj pt vl of the last place team would be zero. The first place team would have the highest adj pt vl. Each team would be paid from the remaining 50%, a share equivalent to their percentage of the total adjusted point values. J.
