Trying to kill a little time this morning while waiting for my St. Patty's party to begin I went out and bought Baseball Weekly. Using their point scheme, I calculated where each of us would rank. I guess it wasn't a surprise to me that the Foxes rate the best. The Ballbusters rate second best with the Muckrats in third (John's team ranks last in offense but first in pitching). No surprise as to who trails the field! Here's the totals: Foxes--502 points Busters--476 points Muckrats--467 points Mazins--449 points Invincibles--448 points Leathernuts--442 points Tamales--442 points Panzas--441 points Nuzzahs--439 points Pinstripes--417 points Hogshit--More on this later! Offense Rank Foxes--331 Busters--319 Mazins--318 Invincibles--316 Tamales--310 Panzas--299 Nuts--296 Nuzzahs--294 Pinstripes--287 Hogshit--280 Muckrats--279 Pitching Rank Muckrats--188 (I told you they had the best staff) Foxes--171 Busters--157 Nuts--146 Nuzzahs--145 Panzas--142 Invincibles--132 Tamales--132 Mazins--131 (I told you the staff was loaded with pus arms) Pinstripes--130 Hogshit--? It was impossible to rank the Hogshit staff because Baseball Weekly didn't even post values for Wood and Ligtenburg for obvious reasons. I couldn't find a value for Alex Fernandez either. Willo's other six pitchers had a total of 85 points. The boys are comin' Willo! Anyway, that's the word from a publication that none of us had the opportunity to use during the draft. As usual though, it'll come down to who stays healthy, who lives up to potential and who has the career years. Play ball! Gabes
