Preppie's Pinkos, the Leathernuts.  Despite the NIxon pick in the last
round.  He's getting old, your 2b/ss combo are not big base stealers,
and other than Nixon, your outfield is not fast.

Home Runs:

Tossup between the Panzas (Great power at SS w/ Rodriguez and Jones, add
depth w/ Fielder, Gonzalez, Palmer, Walker, Lankford, Strawberry,
Sorrento, and Tettleton) and Red Foxes (M and B Williaims, Sheffield,
Sosa, Ramirez... muy macho.)

"Ruth Buzzi" Award goes to....

Sobo's Rangers.  Sure, F Thomas, then down to Bobby Bo, but then...
Mondesi?  Grace? White?  Greer?

Yours truly, The Panzas.  Dropped the ball on BA as I loaded up on
power.  Fielder, Castillo, Strawberry, Tettleton... not good.

No doubt about this one... Panzas.

Leathernuts first four picks here were very impressive... Maddux,
Glavine, Hill, and Leiter.  If Radke and Tewksbury come through, they
can challenge.

"Loretta Young" Award goes to:

The Mazins.  Who are those guys?

ERA:

"Bob Gibson" Award goes to:

A crapshoot, but I like the Rangers here.  3 great relievers, then
mostly NL starters.  Good combo for ERA.


"Gibson and a Beer Chaser" Award goes to:

This is tight... The Invinceables look pretty Vinceable w/ Ruffin in the
pen, 3 AL starters, a Rockie in Ritz, and an overrated Met in Clark. 
But even his ERA may not be high enough to keep the Hog Men out of the
cellar.  Love Wohlers and Brown.... but Slocumb followed by FIVE AL
Starters, two of whom start for the BoSox, could spell a bloated ERA

Saves:

"Rollie Fingers" Award goes to:

Really like the Ball Busters pen, but I LOVE the Rangers relievers. 

'Smelly Fingers" Award goes to:

Well, of course, the Leathernuts have this one to themselves.  More
interesting is who will finish next to last.... The "Sticky Fingers"
Award.

Don't like Ruffin, but as long as Mesa stays out of jail, then Hans'
Mesa/Beck combo will do fine.   Wohlers is a horse, and will carry a
mediocre Slocumb for the Hog Men.  Panzas' Rivera/Myers combo will save
their fair share.\

So... the Red Foxes have Timlin and Franco.  Two mediocre closers on two
shitty teams.  Someone help me w/ TJ Mathews... will he save games?  Fox
had better hope so.

Muskrats are banking on one more year from "Eck"... hmmmm.  And hoping
that Piniella settles in on Charlton in Seattle as "The Man".  Good luck
on both counts.

Then there's the Mazins.  He picks Wagner as the Astros closer, then
adds Hudek in case Wagner is NOT the closer.  Montgomery?  Will the
Royals win 75 games?  D Nulty?  Not a clue...
