Here's what some of you have been waiting for ... baseball
payoffs!

Albert, with a combination of shrewd picks (Rodriguez and
Chipper Jones), gambling picks (the injured Lankford 
Gonzalez and Randy Johnson), lucky picks (Walker) and timely
waiver moves (Sandy Alomar), ran away from the pack making
this a race for 2nd place.

And a fine race it was, with the Invicables nipping the Busters
at the gun.

we'll call this official. In that case, we will handle payoffs

Mags pays Andy     10.80 plus a bottle of wine
Mags pays Albert    1.80 which I believe Albert will graciously ignore.

Fox pays Andy            an autographed baseball


It wasn't as much fun figuring all this out as it was last year.

Several people have asked how I did in my other leagues. I was in
4 auction leagues and won money in all four.  I was in two draft
leagues and did terrible in each (Larkin and Sheffield as first two
picks in each didn't help). But overall, in my other leagues, I 
won enough to make this one not hurt so much ... not enough to cover
this disaster, but enough so it doesn't hurt.

So congrats to the big winners, Al and Hans, and the other winners
Gabes and Andy.

And wait'll next year.
