first P instead in Rd 5

I had wanted Brandon Phillips for 2b... who knew that Jack would have a
woodie for every Red worth a shit?

Would have grabbed Josh Johnson in Rd 9, but Jack went off his
Cards/Reds binge and took him w/ last pick in Rd 8.  Would have grabbed
Scherzer but Sobo took him and I settled for Matt Cain that round.  I
like Cain... but will be interesting to see how those 3 (plus Liiano,
Oswalt, Latos Gallardo, and Ter's GG Gonzalez) all do, as all were
picked in Rd 9.

I wanted Mike Napoli... but not round 13. Very happy w/ Posada in Rd 15,
thank you.  Side bet, Gabes?

Terry had the double snake on me in Rd 15 and 16.  I had ID'd Aaron Hill
as my reasonably priced 2b target, with Howie Kendrick as my backup
plan.  Sum bitch takes BOTH of them on one corner turn, leaving me w/
either Neil Walker or Chone Figgins.  I take Walker... and get Figgins
later as UT.  Will be interesting to assess how those 4 end up.. as well
as Andy's JJ Hardy.

Sure, I had my eye on Manny.  I think we all did.  Travis Snider was the
one that I thought I'd be able to grab but Jack beat me.  We'll see how
my Morse... from RD 24... does against his Rd 18 Snider.  Funny story
about Morse... I really thought I had him as a super sleeper, one no one
else would even consider.  Wasn't listed as a "starter" on most
pre-season assessments... only played half a year in a platoon last
year.  So with two round to go, I am not concerned that I have him
stashed.  Until I open a week old SI and look at the "Who's Hot, Who's
Not" column in Scorecard section.  There... leading the "Who's Hot"
list, is a picture of Michael Morse, talking of his .460 spring average
and 4 HR's.  ARRRGGHHH!!!  I thought for sure after seeing that that is
who Fox was hoping to have around.  Thank goodness he took Alex Gordon
and/or Nate McClouth

Jack also grabbed AJ as catcher forcing me to settle for John Buck.  6
of one, half dozen on another.  But I'll go $5 on better overall season
if you're interested Jack.
