Where is the best site to find out if players are on the DL? Sobo, you must know. I looked at our rosters (thanks Hans for setting up) and I see lots of Red Crosses but no DL designations. I don't see how we will make DL replacements Sunday if players are not assigned to it yet. Mags *********************************************** Mags I'm told it's mlb.com, but I just looked and my guy Josh Johnson shows active even though he's out until June. Fox, does the player still need to be officially DL'd, or didn't you add some other caveats? Sobo *********************************************** Same rules as last year: ---------- Note that you may have a player who breaks his leg or something, he could even be dead, but if he's not on the major league DL you can't use a DL move to replace him. ---------- Note that especially towards the end of the year, after roster size expands, teams might stop using the DL to store hurt players. That's just a tough break for whoever owns that player. mlb.com is a good source for info. Some players there do show as DLed. For example Kris Benson. I believe that players such as Josh Johnson will show up as DLed there soon. You can watch "transactions" there or just search transactions for "disabled". If mlb.com doesn't list the player as DLed and you find another source of DL info that shows him DLed (not "injured" ... DLed), let us know. Otherwise he can't be replaced. I believe we saw this same thing last year with many teams doing their DLing just before the season began. Having our DL moves due Sunday rather than Saturday gives us a chance to catch up with those moves! ICC
