I know you all have been wondering, so here's what I think of the final drafted assemblages of players some of you call your teams. I hastily, and with high precision, reviewed and rated your Outfield, Infield, and Pitching selections and scored them up on a 1-10 scale. So as not to embarass any individual owner (such as Gabes) specifically, I will not disclose your final point scores. Rather, your "teams" fall into one of the following: Winners, Close Contenders, Near Misses, and Better Luck Next Year. So here they are: Better Luck Next Year - Pinstripes, Ballbusters, Tamales, and Mazins. Ike never recovered from the Catcher fiasco. Gabes must be distracted by his launched industry, Sobo decided A-Rod was all the infield power he needed, and the Mazins are just stalking too many rookies. Near Misses - Pussjackers, Expectorators, and Leathernuts. Despite being totally out of touch, Jack managed to draft better than the BLNY group. Terry blew it on the Pitchers, Prep blew it after round 2. Close Contenders - Cutters and Red Foxes. Both good teams. Hans was picking from my short list all draft, except for a couple late position picks. Fox seems to use a different priority list, but comes up with a solid cast. If they stay healthy, either of these guys could move up. Winners - Panzas and Bombers. What can I say? Of course I think the Bombers are the team to beat, carried mainly by the superior group of infielders. The Panzas are a "statistical tie", thanks to Al's savvy drafting of a couple of Yankees. If Al trades for more Mets, however, he may blow his chances. There you have it. Take your medicine and hope for good luck. You're gonna need it. Mags
